Flowers Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2019

93 pts. James Suckling:

"Aromas of ripe strawberries, red cherries and colored flowers. Medium-to full-bodied with fine, well-integrated tannins. Fresh acidity and bright, juicy fruit on the palate. Well balanced. Drink now."

92 pts. Jeb Dunnuck:

"Moving to the reds, there are three Sonoma Coast and one Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. The 2019 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is deeper ruby-hued and has pure, classic, textbook notes of ripe cherries, raspberries, spring flowers, and underbrush. The balance is spot on, it has ripe, present tannins, good freshness, and a great finish."

Vintage after vintage, the folks at Flowers Winery never fail to craft beautiful Sonoma Coast Pinot Noirs. And the 2019 vintage is no different - it's just an absolutely delightful wine! A beautiful representation of the West Sonoma Coast AVA.

Tasting Notes:

Red currants, earthy forest floor, bergamot and sea breeze. A balanced wine with persistent mid palate that is laced with acidity and tart cherry, finishing light and lifted with a twist of blood orange.

2019 Vintage:

There is a great deal of beauty and expression to be found in the 2019 vintage. The growing season began with a cool winter and heavy rainfall; we even had snow on our estate! Spring was clear and bright, with early bud break and cool, sunny days. Summer followed with mild temperatures allowing moderate ripening and resulting in an eloquent and expressive vintage with superb fruit quality.

Sourced from a selection of family-owned vineyards on the Sonoma Coast as well as our SeaView Ridge estate. Each vineyard is carefully chosen for its farming practices, coastal influence and fruit standards.
