FROM THE WINERY
The company Poggio Nardone was founded in 1996 by Tiziano and Alessandra, by investing in the most southern part of the land inherited from his grandfather, who was one of the 25 founders of the Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino.
The vineyards are south / west of the hill of Montalcino at an altitude of 350 meters, are interspersed with forests of oak, holm oak and strawberry trees, characteristic of the natural vegetation of this area, the soil is largely composed of marl and limestone and then rich in salt minerals.
The soil and its particular microclimate are very important for the quality of the wine, that with hard work and passion in the basement of the producer makes a wine unique.
