We're long-time fans of this small winery in the Anderson Valley, California. To us, their Pinot Noir is just the perfect representation of the region. Cranberry fruit and subtle spice flavors up front, followed by that wonderful Anderson Valley earthiness - oh what a delicious Pinot! - Wine Factor

FROM THE WINERY

Winter 2020 was quite dry, while early spring and summer were both mild and warm overall leading to an even ripening period, with ample fruit on the vine.

The 2020 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir presents a beautiful and aromatic nose. Abundant in bright notes of cherry, flowers, and spice. On the palate, this wine has the firm and fine structure we love from the region, showing ample body with a long finish and persistence on the palate.

Clones: 115, 667,777,2A, and Pommard

Soils: Pinoli Loam, along with a mélange of soils composed of Schist, brittle sandstone, and other sedimentary and metamorphic rocks including quartz.

Aging: 11 months in French Oak Barrels (20% new) & 10% Hungarian

Harvest Dates: September 2020

Alcohol: 14.3%

Acid: 0.57 g/100 ml

pH: 3.50

Residual Sugar: 0.05% (dry)
