We're long-time fans of this off-the-beaten-path winery tucked in the Anderson Valley, California. To us, their Pinot Noir is just the perfect representation of the region. Cranberry fruit and lively spice flavors up front, followed by that wonderful Anderson Valley earthiness - oh what a delicious Pinot! - Wine Factor

FROM THE WINERY

2021 was a dry winter in Anderson Valley, leading into a mild but warm spring and summer. Because of this, fruit yields were lower, and the berries were smaller and very complex and concentrated. The 2021 Anderson Valley exhibits bright cherry, baking spice, star anise with a slight earthiness on the finish. Drink this medium-bodied wine now to 2028. 

Clones: 115, 667,777,2A, and Pommard

Soils: Pinoli Loam, along with a mélange of soils composed of Schist, brittle sandstone, and other sedimentary and metamorphic rocks including quartz.

Aging: 11 months in French Oak Barrels (20% new) & 10% Hungarian
