Full, round-in-the-mouth flavors of candied red apples, cranberries and nutmeg are ably supported by velvety tannins and soft acidity."

FROM THE WINERY

This block holds a special place in our hearts because it was the first section of the vineyard we decided to keep separate and make an individual release from over 20 years ago.  This southwest facing 3-acre section provides both beauty and structure year after year.  Aromatics of raspberry, pomegranate, cinnamon, and brown sugar lead to a concentrated palate that’s rich, round, and concentrated with red fruit.  As always with Block 23, this is a stunning wine.
